Surfriders Academy surf school in Huntington Beach is owned and operated by long-time experienced surfer Marcus Barrera and a Red Cross certified lifeguard, along with National Surf Schools & Instructors Association (NSSIA International) credentials. We teach surf lessons all year round and provide all the best surfboards to learn on, and wetsuits to keep you warm. We are legally insured for your safety. Growing up watching Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon Gidget just seeing Moon Doogie and Tube Steak surfing, he knew thats what he wanted to do! He started surfing at 12 years old with the older guys on the block. His father would take him surfing every weekend whether it rained or shined, and during the summer week he also use to hitch hike to the beach, it was a different world back then, now all grown up and still in love with the sport of surfing, he is teaching it and spreading Aloha to the world.T-Bird Kauai

Panama Surf School was founded in 2005 by Flor Villarreal, an Argentinian from Mar del Plata who is a passionate surfer. Flor has a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management and works as a Real Estate agent; also is a dedicated mom who taught her son TAO how to surf. Today, Tao is a multi-champion with a national surf ranking and represents Panama in the ISA World Junior Surfing. We are a family, Tao works as an instructor at Panama Surf School when he is available. Panama Surf School is very proud of it's talented team of instructors! They are professionals in other areas as well, but they are all passionate about surfing and love spreading this passion by teaching others to surf. That's why they are the heart and soul of Panama Surf School. We love incorporating instructors from other countries to expand knowledge and culture because surfing is global! We have added value. We care about the environment, and we are responsible for water conservation for the future, with respect to those who don't have it. We also do recycling of plastic, cardboard, glass, and cans.
