Summer Heat offers a unique program that provides girls with advanced fire safety skills, leadership skills, in-depth problem-solving abilities, community awareness, and the ability to build lasting friendships with their peers. This camp is a partnership between the Girl Scouts of Colorado and Summer Heat. Programming is provided by Summer Heat volunteers, who are predominately female firefighters from Colorado Springs Fire Department. Girl Scouts of Colorado provides registration and staff support.
