Summer Fund Information

The Summer Fund, Philanthropy Massachusetts’ oldest and largest donor collaborative, brings funders together to expand access to safe, enriching summer experiences for young people across Greater Boston. Pooling resources, knowledge, and leadership, the Fund partners with over 80 nonprofit and philanthropic organizations each year to provide high-quality, often transformational experiences at no cost to youth and their families while responding to their evolving needs and strengthening trusted youth-serving organizations. Since its founding in 1971, the Summer Fund has helped shape the summer enrichment and learning landscape, supporting experiences that range from overnight camps to community-based programs. Governed by an Advisory Committee, The Summer Fund is operated/staffed by Philanthropy Massachusetts.
