SUMAT Information

SUMAT is an innovative EU backed project which is at the forefront of machine translation technology. Our aim is to create a brand new platform which focuses exclusively on machine translation for subtitled content. At a present there is a substantial demand globally for this kind of translation work and once our product is launched we will be able to translate a total of 9 different European languages into 14 separate language pairs. This groundbreaking technology will play an important role in ensuring audiovisual content is available across the web in a variety of languages and will also help broadcasting networks in their subtitling production. The SUMAT Project is now entering its product testing phase with some very positive results already surfacing. The project itself is a combined effort from multiple stakeholders and is backed by a consortium of language technology developers. All SUMAT partners have dedicated a fantastic amount of energy and resources into the project and we are all anticipating a successful 2014!
