Substation33 Information

Substation33 is a 'Social Enterprise' of YFS Ltd and is an electronic waste recycling business. Since opening for trading in January 2013, Substation33 has collected, decommissioned and recycled more than 500,000 kilograms of electronic waste. In addition, it has provided tens of thousands of hours of volunteer and work experience performed in a supportive work environment. In more recent times Substation33 is expanding the skill sets and experiences on offer with the development of our 'Innovation Hub'. The 'Innovation Hub' is working with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds. The purpose of this 'Hub' is to take ideas to commercial reality in a supported open working environment As well as providing people the chance to gain work experience, confidence, and skills, the enterprise has an environmental benefit.
