My name is Amy Anderson Peck. I have enjoyed creating unique and fun floral arrangements for 14 years. I started out working with flowers at a local Hy-Vee grocery store when I was in high school. From there, I attended college and worked as a Floral Designer at a few shops around town, learning from other designers.
After College I attended Stuppy floral design school in North Kansas City Missouri. I then opened my own flower and gift shop in Urbandale Iowa and sold that business in 2001.
I've studied floral design at the Koehler and Dramm Institute of Floristry and white house and Rose Parade Designer, Ardith Beverage. Ardith taught me techniques that she uses for Presidential Parties throughout the world and in Washington, D.C. Ardith asked to work at a design show for Koehler and Dramm in which I did.
Working with HGTV and CBS Floral Guru from Canada Neville Mackay was a treat! I worked with Neville and several other celebrities to put together a show for other florists to give them a refreshing creative ideas with new colors, trends and tricks of the trade! The experiences were remarkable! I thank Neville for sharing his knowledge and kind comments on my designs! :)
