Studio WM. is Wendy Legro and Maarten Collignon. After their graduation from the Design Academy Eindhoven they set up their design studio. The first year they have lived and worked in Antwerp, Belgium and now they have settled in Rotterdam’s creative centre. Wendy graduated cum laude in June 2009 from the academy’s Man and Well-being department and received a ‘Willy Wortel award’ for her project ‘Morning Glory’. Maarten graduated in December 2009 from the department Man and Identity at the Design Academy. The young designer couple share an interest in nature’s processes and structures. With their various qualities and specialities they complement each other and form a strong team for designing both products and concepts. As designers they search for the life in everyday products and they incorporate this into their works.
