Studio Stauss Information

Studio Stauss considers itself a laboratory for documentary photography, a space to host the exchange between photo editors and photographers, agencies, graphic artists, curators, journalists, and academics. We are photo editors, researching and editing photographs and developing visual concepts for magazines, books, and exhibitions. We understand photography to be an independent language that depicts history(-ies). Images not only serve to illustrate the text, but we regard them as a further narrative level, equal to the text. Studio Stauss consists of two generations. In dialogue, we stay awake and bundle our strengths.
