We design brands, products and experiences that inspire, educate and empower kids through play. Too often, kids' designs are made from an adult’s perspective and don’t speak to kids or fully consider their needs and wellbeing. As a result, they fall flat in the market and leads to a loss of interest and trust in the brand. Studio Oddball is the creative studio and playground of child culture designer & illustrator, Nalisha Chouraria. For 15 years, she has been designing brands, play products and experiences that inspire, educate and empower kids through play. Nalisha pursued her masters in Designed Objects from Chicago, US and a very unique masters in Child Culture Design from Gothenburg, Sweden. She went on to work for organisations such as Toca Boca and Strawbees, launched a startup and volunteered as an education ambassador for OzHarvest to educate and empower kids around food and food waste. She simultaneously established her independent design studio and won many awards such as IF Awards, Creative Abby Awards, A' Design and Good Design Awards.
