Snøhetta is an international integrated architecture and design firm. The practice has a global presence, with offices spanning from Oslo, Paris, and Innsbruck, to New York, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Melbourne. For almost 40 years, Snøhetta has designed some of the world’s most notable public and cultural projects. Snøhetta kick-started its career in 1989 with the competition-winning entry for the new library of Alexandria, Egypt. This was later followed by the commission for the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet in Oslo, and the National September 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion at the World Trade Center in New York City, among many others. Since its inception, the practice has maintained its original transdisciplinary approach, and often integrates a combination of architecture, landscape architecture, interior architecture, product design and art across its projects. The collaborative nature between Snøhetta's different disciplines is an essential driving force of the practice.

With award winning office buildings, housing, culture buildings and city plans, A-lab has established itself among Norway’s leading offices of architecture. A-lab’s goal is to influence the urban environment through innovative and sustainable architecture with a strong identity. The main office situated in Oslo Norway was founded in 2000 by Geir Haaversen and Odd Klev, and now has a total of nine partners. The office consists of over 120 architects, urban planners, landscape architects, interior designers, tech workers and social scientists working to create the housing and workspaces of tomorrow as integrated parts of the big city web. International offices in Alvor Portugal, Silkeborg Denmark and Paris France. Major works are the Statoil regional and international offices (2012), the Barcode masterplan (in collaboration with MVRDV, Dark Architects and A-lab, 2003-2017) including three A-lab buildings (2009, 2014, 2016).
