Studio AMeBE was founded in 2008 by Alessandra Mantovani and Eleonora Barbareschi. Their ironic and conceptual works feed on the diversity and complexity of Italy’s cultural heritage. By integrating their backgrounds in Fine Arts and Design Technology with refined handcraft skills, they trace new aesthetics in the realm of Art and Design, while perpetually questioning the status quo. The duo’s “forte” lies within their eclectic approach, which allows their creations to range from the world of collecting to industrial design, to the realization of site-specific installations. This results in a continuous aesthetic inventiveness while perpetually questioning the status quo. Characterized by an exclusive POP signature, they exhibit worldwide and have won numerous international awards.
