Having fun ... TDC Corporation dba The Design Company is a full service print and web design firm founded and still operated by Pat Hayes Kaufman and Joy Yoshikawa. In May 1978, they sat together on Joy's porch and wrote three goals for our new communications firm. The Design Company was determined to ... "have fun, do good work, and make a profit" from day one. The odds, of course, were against the success of a women-owned small business, but over 40 years have passed; thousands of projects have been successfully completed; hundreds of satisfied clients, valued vendors and wonderful friends have been added to our history. You have given us the opportunity to "have fun" because we get to do what we enjoy ... and what we enjoy is "doing good work"! Doing good ... But beyond good work, we also love doing good! Designing for profit is great, but designing for a cause gives our work meaning. Lately we have discovered more and more people who share this notion, so we have plans to expand personnel and services to benefit the creative community. Nice to meet you. As our name suggests, Creative Fusion is all about bringing things together. Ideas and emotions. Persuasive language and design. Traditional and digital marketing communications. Above all, we're in the business of bringing clients together with their customers. Current customers. Former customers. New customers. Customers you didn't even know existed. The first thing you need to know is that we really don't like talking about ourselves that much. We'd much rather listen, ask questions about your marketing challenges, and listen some more. But since this is a bit like the dreaded first date (remember those?), we should say a bit about who we are. And what we care about. At the risk sounding like a Match.com member, we've been told that we're passionate, hardworking, and creative. We're also not easily satisfied… with our own work, that is! Finally, we've been accused of being fun and easy to work with. We've been in the business of bringing things together since 1991. Over the years, there aren't many challenges we haven't encountered. Need a new product brochure for that big trade show next month? Done. Want an ad campaign or email blast that will make the phone ring off the hook? How about a clear and memorable business identity?
