Studentfy Information

In October 2014, Arturo Gil, co-founder and CEO of Studentfy, realized there was a lack of networking opportunities for business school students in Barcelona. He had a vision: to build a bridge between different classes within his school, but also between the different schools in the city. He started assembling a team and recruited cofounder Bruno Ferenci in the summer of 2015. The company was incorporated on October 2015. Early 2016 they found their third cofounder in Jesús Gil, to bring IT in-house and become the company’s first Chief Technology Officer. Together they started working on different projects and StudentNetwork was born. At the beginning of the academic year of 2017-2018, the company changed its name and became Studentfy. Starting 2019 the company pivoted its business model and started developing a prototype of its App in the form of a SaaS for Educational Institutions. The objective of the SaaS is to facilitate student integration and social interactions for Higher Education.
