Additionally, Charleston Steel fabricates simple bridges and bridge components. We are a Full Member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and certified by the AISC in Standard for Steel Building Structures, Simple Steel Bridges and Standard for Bridge and Highway Metal Component. We are an American Welding Society (AWS) member and have an on staff Certified Weld Inspector (CWI). We own and utilize Tekla steel detailing software and Fabtrol project management and estimating software.

Penn Steel is an AISC certified fabrication company with Fracture Critical Endorsement involved in heavy structural steel fabrication for both public & private sectors throughout the Northeastern United States. We have successfully completed projects for various authorities including NYS DOT, NYC, NJDOT, NJTA , PANYNJ, DelDOT, MTA/MBTA, PennDOT, Septa, DRPA, DRBA, and CTDOT.
