STUART PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH Information

We are a group of people, probably a lot like you, who come together to form a new family. Our church is a family of families-diverse and unique, married, single, with and without children, old and young-all with the same goal: we want to become the kind of church described in the Bible. We want to be a church family where there's relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionatecare for those in need. We would like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage our entire community, one life at a time. We are a growing Evangelical Presbyterian Church congregation, which is encouraged to seek to know and implement the gifts of the Holy Spirit (as outlined in I Corinthians 12, Romans 12 & Ephesians) within our congregation. We believe firmly that the Holy Spirit grants the enabling of different gifts among the Body of Christ and more specifically to those within our own congregation-not for the purpose, use, and edification of ourselves, but rather for the enabling and use of the edification of others in Christ and the glorification of Jesus Christ. Click on the Heading "Our Congregation" above, and you will find some of our beliefs under "What We Believe": "The Essentials of Our Faith", "Wedding Policy", and "The Sanctity of Marriage" (EPC Position Paper). My Friends Closet hours are: Mondays--9:30 AM-1:30 PM; Thursdays--Noon-5:30 PM. The Closet will be closed Thanksgiving Day. The church office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will be open the day after. Next Sunday, December 4, our Youth and Children will lead us in a presentation highlighting some of the Chrismons on our sanctuary tree.
