In order to compete on a global scale, the Borderplex Region must continue to support efforts that develop, deploy, and advance educational programs and initiatives focused on harvesting youth entrepreneurship ecosystems and technology comprehension. Support towards these efforts will help prepare the next gen on future opportunities and challenges the economy will face. STTE Foundation is committed to enhancing the regional economy through educational programs, maximizing meaningful partnerships, and embracing family support mechanisms for the next twenty years. STTE Mission – Discover, develop and deploy entrepreneurship and technology education content for middle school, high school, and college students to support a thriving entrepreneurial culture in the Borderplex region. STTE Vision – Become the leading entrepreneurship education partner to public and private middle and secondary schools, after-school clubs, and institutions of higher learning to advance the competitiveness of the Borderplex region. The formation of STTE’s framework was developed to identify linkages with regional entities strategic efforts that directly and indirectly impact STTE Mission and “customer segments,” helping to specifically advance future STEAM, tech and entrepreneurial talent pools. In order to begin to accomplish the Foundation Mission and Vision, STTE will focus on three customer segments. Students ranging from the middle, high school to college, STTE will participate in innovative project-based programs and tech-focused summer camps. Educators through collaborative efforts with school districts, STTE programs will be supported through committees such as Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Committee, STEAM Leaders Committee and the Chamber Education Division Committee. Families make a huge impact on harvesting a thriving culture, STTE will be responsible for collecting basic eligibility information, then connect them with exclusive STTE partners.
