STS-Tecom GmbH Information

STS Tecom GmbH was founded in May 1990. In 1997 the company changed from a distributorship to a platform manufacturer and designer for the industry (IPC`s) and communications technology, a change completed in 1999 with our own manufacturing facility and service network in Germany. This development gave rise to the motto: "Development - Production - Service" True to this motto, in 2002 we continued to specialize in the production of special solutions and already our thoughts and actions displayed a very early focus on the topic of "High Efficiency". The reduction of energy consumption (cost of electricity) is an important component of our research and development. Today STS Tecom GmbH operates as a highly efficient company, since early 2003 also developing and building in addition to IPCs a large number of servers for Internet Service Providers (ISPs). To date, a total of around 25,000 servers have already been built and installed in data centres. Further emphasis is placed on the development (hardware, software, design) and production of set-top boxes, TV-boxes for IP, TV broadcasters and cable TV providers, as well as project management of software programming for Internet portals providing video streaming. Not satisfied with simply delivering innovative, good quality products, we also provide clients with a cost-effective and timely service, aided by our 16 years of experience. STS-Tecom ist Projekt-Partner bei verschieden Neu-Entwicklungen im IT - Hardware-Bereich deren Ziel es ist, die bestmögliche Energie-Effizienz zu erreichen. Bei einigen dieser Projekte zur Auslotung und Realisierung des Energie-Einspar-Potentials tritt STS-Tecom als Initiator und Projekt - Leader auf.
