Stroud Valleys Family Practice Information

Stroud Valleys Family Practice is a long established NHS general practice offering a friendly, helpful and efficient service. We are involved in the training of doctors, particularly those who wish to go on to become the GPs of the future. As our name indicates, we are a family orientated practice. We know that families come in all shapes and sizes and we are happy to welcome all family members, whether there are many of them or just one. Of course we also realise that not everyone has a family and we extend the same welcome to all. Because we are a small surgery we think that helps us to build good relationships with our patients, and we try to ensure that one doctor is responsible for the whole family to give continuity of care. If you have a preference to see a certain doctor let us know and we will always do our best to accommodate you. Every one of us working at the surgery really enjoys the variety of general practice and our aim is to provide up to date care whilst always keeping the individual person in mind. We strive to ensure that our patients receive the best attention at all times.
