We are dedicated to working collaboratively with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and communities, government departments and private organisations to explore and embed the Stronger Smarter approach to creating a more equitable and just Australian society. The Stronger Smarter approach articulates the philosophical framework developed by Dr Chris Sarra and is based on a high-expectations, strength-based agenda that builds high expectations relationships, trust and collaborative partnerships. The Stronger Smarter approach is integrated into all programs and services offered by Strong Smart Solutions, notably:A strength based approach which focus on abilities, knowledge and capacities, rather than deficits and what is wrong or lackingIndigenous pedagogies and perspectives which promote innovative strengths-based approaches to working with people in a positive, collaborative mannerValues driven, focussing on the RICH Stronger Smarter values of Respect, Integrity, Courage and Honesty; andChanging the conversation, to co-create Strong and Smart futures for all Australians, with a focus on high expectations relationship with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communitiesStrong Smart Solutions acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community.
