Streamline Swimming Academy was founded in 2004 by David Clarke and Rachel Reilly in response to the demand for additional pool time for swimmers in the county of Shropshire. The Academy is based at Wrekin College in Wellington. The Academy does have strong links with Wrekin College SC as David and Rachel are also the coaches at the club. However at Streamline all swimmers are coached and treated equally, no matter what club they belong to. The Academy is not connected or affiliated to any one club. Indeed the Senior Coach, David Clarke, has connections with a number of clubs in the area, having been the coach at Oakengates Swimming Club for 15 years. He still swims competitively for Northgate and Oakengates Clubs. This site provides an introduction to the range of services on offer.
