Valrico is located in West Central Florida less than five miles east of Brandon, and 10 miles east of Tampa. MacDill Air Force Base is located in South Tampa approximately 35 minutes from StrawBerry Ridge. What is the climate like? We have one of the most comfortable climates in the state with an average year-round temperature of 74 degrees. Are there golf courses close by? There are number of fine championship courses in the area including Diamond Hill, Bloomingdale, Plantation and Summerfield Crossings, all of which are a five- to 10-mile drive. Do you offer fitness/exercise facilities? Yes, we do provide our residents with exceptional facilities for health and wellness. You can work out to your heart's content in our fitness center. We offer state-of-the-art Nautilus equipment, including treadmills, stationery bikes, stair-steppers and more! If you prefer floor exercising, we offer aerobic classes in our studio for individuals or groups. Tennis and pickleball courts, and shuffleboard are also available.
