We never found an affordable space to make the original concept fly, but we opened in 2005 and ended up creating a successful and fairly diverse business. Cakes were first and then we added coffee, breakfast pastries, and lunch. We opened a 2nd shop in 2008 to expand the cake business and ended up adding breakfast/brunch. Our first location on SE Water Ave was sold and closed on March 2, 2010.
