Strategise i3 was established in 2000 by Stephen Braida (B.Com LL.B MBA), who commenced his career in 1989 as a Corporate Lawyer with one of Australia's major commercial law firms, where he specialised in Mergers & Acquisitions, IPOs, Due Diligence, Licensing & Distribution Agreements. He then took on senior management roles in businesses operating in very challenging business environments including: General Manager of Mt Buller Ski Lifts & Hotels, a business with high fixed costs and an 8-12 week period in which to generate a profit; General Manager of a major recruitment and temporary staffing agency at a time when major global players sought to gain market share by entering into a price war; and Developing the strategy, establishing the retail network and on-going management of the Virgin Mobile retail stores on behalf of the Virgin Group in the highly competitive and crowded mobile telephony market. In these roles, success depended on having timely, concise, accurate and - above all - insightful management information available. Further, in order to involve front-line staff, a visual approach to presenting information was required. From those experiences, Strategise i3 was born and we developed a methodology that focused on innovation, insights and implementability. Because we have actually managed businesses, we have first-hand experience of the needs of our Clients and an ability to understand how the "real" business world operates. Further, we effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation, from the Boardroom to the Depot, thereby ensuring that we understand what really drives the business.
