In 2008, Belinda Sward began Strategic Solutions Alliance following her work as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer with Newland Communities. At Newland, she met the challenge of overseeing the planning, consumer intelligence and all market research and strategy application for each of Newland's communities in more than 12 states nationwide. Following Newland she was approved as one of a handful of consultants to work with the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS), working with LDC Advisors. Prior to working with Newland, Belinda was Managing Director with Robert Charles Lesser & Co. RCLCO, a national real estate consulting services firm. She provided consulting services to top developers, homebuilders and real estate investors primarily for mixed-use and master-planned communities in multiple markets across the country.
