Straits Capitol, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings, since incorporated in 2018 have acquired over £800m of student housing from their base in Edinburgh. A new company which has expanded fast with backing from the largest media business in Singapore – the growth target is to have invested £1bn by the end of 2020 focusing on Alternative Sectors.
