Storyboarder is a tool and a marketplace for anyone to create, share, and sell webcomics. In East Asia, the webcomic (or digital manga) industry is an $11B market and rapidly growing to the rest of the world. The current version of our tool, targeted at storyboard artists, has 700k users - We’re working on a new version that, through advances in video game interfaces, ubiquitous 3D compute, and AI, will allow anyone to easily create scenes, pose characters, and tell stories. Joe Watkins led a machine learning team at Google and was most recently at Waymo. Charles Forman founded videogame company OMGPOP (YCS06), which made Draw Something and sold to Zynga for $200m. Storyboarder is backed by Y Combinator (W23), David Karp (Tumblr Founder), and Andrew Kortina (Venmo Founder).
