Stop the Spike is building the first real-time detection and response system for drug-facilitated harm. Despite its prevalence across campuses, nightlife, travel, military environments, and large public events, there is no infrastructure to detect chemical impairment in real time. Most current approaches rely on vigilance or post-incident reporting — often after impairment has already set in. We are changing that. Stop the Spike combines individualized physiological baseline modeling, anomaly detection, real-time escalation protocols, and structured incident data capture into a single unified system. Our technology is designed to: • Establish a unique physiological baseline for each user • Detect abnormal suppression patterns relative to that baseline • Activate user-defined escalation pathways in real time • Generate structured, timestamped records to support response and accountability Safety should not depend on constant vigilance. It should be built into the system. Stop the Spike is advancing controlled pilots and institutional partnerships across high-reliability environments. In parallel, FREDDIE (Foundation for Response, Early Detection, Deterrence, Innovation & Education) supports research, education, and early deployment initiatives that expand access to protective infrastructure. https://lohas.org/client/freddie/
