Extreme Load Testing For An Uncertain World Stone-OBL LLC (dba PSG-OBL) combines the engineering, consulting and research & development expertise of the engineers of Protective Solutions Group (PSG) with the testing, instrumentation, and research & development expertise of Oregon Ballistic Laboratories to create a ‘One-Stop-Shop’. This outstanding team of leading experts in the field of extreme loadings (blast, ballistics, forced entry, fire, etc) have come together in a concerted effort to better meet the research, testing, and product development needs of the security, safety, and industrial sectors. The large-scale blast test facility comes equipped with a test fixture with a 15-ft x 15-ft clear opening, which can be used for single and multi-span building panels or for multiple product tests in a single shot. The fixture can also be customized to support curtainwall, door and glazing testing. Blast tests using multiple thousands of pounds of TNT equivalent charge weights and various energetic materials can be supported at this large-scale arena.
