STM Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret A.Ş. also known as STM, was established in 1991 to render project management, engineering, and consultancy services to the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) and the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) in areas where high technology is involved. Since then, STM has carried out such duties successfully while introducing various critical technologies to our country. STM has also been a leader in bringing domestic contribution rate in the Turkish Defence Industry up to its current level by bringing on board qualified expert personnel that is much needed for the procurement of high technology defence systems and the transfer of such technologies. STM has combined its work in various defence industry projects focusing on different software and platforms with its engineering know-how and the experience it has acquired over the years; this has led to the development of various projects and products in addition to its consulting activities. The technical know-how and experience acquired within the scope of consulting services have supported our departments that are working on other projects while the corporate experience fed by the operations in such fields has contributed considerably to our consultancy services.
