Founded in 1990, Stilmarmo is a second generation family business whose origins can be traced back to the 60’s. Nowadays, Stilmarmo is a leading company in the extraction, production and commercialization of Apricena Stone, also known as Trani Stone. Stilmarmo is made up of its own quarry, two factories covering a 40,000 m2 area, up-to-date equipment, expertise, passion and attention in fulfilling the changing and increasing standard required by the international markets. Stilmarmo’s mission is to promote Apricena Stone – also known as Trani Stone - all over the world. Apricena’s marble district is one of the biggest in Italy, second only to Carrara. Apricena Stone includes four main groups of materials – Serpeggiante, Fiorito, Bronzetto and Biancone – sharing the same source and technical composition, but differing from one another from an aesthetical point of view. Stilmarmo, with its own quarry and its factories, is able to supply the full range of products made of Apricena Stone – Serpeggiante, Fiorito, Bronzetto and Biancone. The production includes blocks, slabs, tiles, finished products and cut to size in all the available finishes. Thanks to the increasing demand for Apricena Stone on all the international markets, Stilmarmo has developed an international profile, which is strongly customer-oriented. Stilmarmo’s stable position in the marble business, which has lasted for more than 25 years, was achieved not only because of the intrinsic value of the Apricena Stone, but also thanks to their ability to adapt to the requirements of the market with professionalism and dynamism.
