It is an online platform focused on activities and social interaction - battling the staggering increase in health and loneliness issues for the aging population in industrialized countries. It serves as a booking platform by partnering with activity enterprises, allowing our members to find, book and pay for a wide range of curated activities to stay active - from cooking classes to kayaking. With Still Active our members can meet like-minded people at events and activities. The combination of wearable technology, gamification and physical activity intelligence algorithms helps Still Active to understand the physical and social behaviour of our users. We give them actionable recommendations on how to stay physically, socially and mentally active through activities that match their needs and a community that supports each other. Our “simplicity first” approach to UX/UI with extensive and continuous user-testing ensures that Still Active can be used by people with even a very low level of technological understanding. Still Active enables everyone to profit from the advancements in technology, alleviating issues such as increasing health care costs or social isolation.
