In 2012, Martijn Nekoui founded MOAM, Amsterdam’s premier young creative, design and fashion platform with national and international clients. MOAM connects young multidisciplinary talent too established professionals in the creative industry. This bridge ensures a transfer of knowledge from the earlier generation onto the new. ‘Honoring heritage and stimulating innovation’. MOAM worked together with o.a Frans Molenaar, Claes Iversen and Linda. Magazine, Today, MOAM is a young design, concept & fashion platform with a reach of 50.000 followers on Instagram, 12.000 on Facebook and 10.000 by website. MOAM’s main projects MOAM collective Brings 5 design alumni together during a period of six month. They receive complete creative freedom from first sketch to final catwalk show. Weekly, they are coached by established names within the Dutch fashion industry. The participants are all pioneers within their own discipline; varying from documentary to fashion design and photography to illustration. This makes generation a raw reflection of the current creative zeitgeist of that year.
