ARQ Centrum'45 is het landelijk centrum voor specialistische diagnostiek en behandeling van mensen met psychotraumaklachten. Kennis en expertise rond psychotraumatologie wordt ontwikkeld door het uitvoeren van wetenschappelijk onderzoek en verspreid via onderwijs, trainingen en consultatie. ARQ Centrum'45 heeft als gehele instelling het keurmerk TOPGGz vanwege de hoogspecialistische behandelfunctie en de structurele verankering van onderzoek en kennisoverdracht binnen de organisatie. Onderwijs en training wordt verzorgd vanuit de ARQ Academy. Wetenschappelijk onderzoek wordt uitgevoerd in vele onderzoeksprojecten en door een tiental promovendi; begeleid door ARQ-hoogleraren.
