Steridium is a rapidly growing privately-owned company based in Brisbane, Australia comprising of three major divisions - Sterilizers, Medical Equipment and Laboratory Equipment. As one of the leading manufacturers of sterilizers for over 20 years, our products can be found in a wide variety of installations – from first-world state-of-the-art academic teaching hospitals, to small remote rural hospitals. Our years of experience in both first world and third world environments have enabled us to combine the sophistication of modern technology with simplicity and ruggedness of design. The result is a product that meets the highest standards demanded by countries and communities such as the EC and GCC, while still being able to operate under the harshest conditions found in parts of Africa and Asia where many competitors’ products from the EC and USA fail. In 2007 Steridium opened its new manufacturing facility in Brisbane, Australia. This factory produces exceptionally high quality products using state-of-the-art CNC machinery, and is rapidly becoming the centre of excellence in the region for medical and laboratory equipment design and manufacture. Steridium prides itself in meeting the challenge of matching and often exceeding the quality and performance of the very best manufacturers from Europe, Japan and the USA - resulting in an expanding export market which presently consumes about 40% of our production capacity.
