Wilderness Inquiry connects people of all ages, backgrounds, identities, and abilities to shared outdoor adventures so that all people can equitably experience the benefits of time spent in nature. Through outdoor adventures and programs designed for both individuals and groups, we inspire personal growth, enhanced awareness of the environment, and community belonging.
The practical application of Christian Science is as much our mission today as it was under Cap and Marianne Andrew’s leadership over 60 years ago. Whether it’s at the A/U Ranches Youth, Adult & Family Programs, 100 Elk Outdoor Center or DiscoveryBound's Outreach events, the National Leadership Council or the Compass program for high school teens, we seek to provide inspiring recreational, leadership, service, educational and social activities for Christian Scientists and their friends, to nurture healing and a sense of community, in an atmosphere conducive to practical reliance on Christian Science.
Adventure Unlimited, headquartered in Greenwood Village, CO (Denver), supports the administrative functions for the A/U Ranches and DiscoveryBound.
The A/U Ranches, located in Buena Vista, CO, is a cornerstone of our programming. The supportive and loving atmosphere cultivates confidence and develops moral courage for Christian Science youth, adults, families and their friends of all faiths.
The 100 Elk Outdoor Center, a public program of the A/U Ranches, provides outdoor education and character development programs for schools and groups in the fall and spring. We offer exceptional ways to enjoy the wonder of Colorado’s Collegiate Peaks and the Arkansas River valley while expanding each participant’s sense of self, community and the environment.
DiscoveryBound serves Christian Scientists and the greater community through fellowship in a healing and inspiring atmosphere, which encourages growth in an understanding of Christian Science and service to the world. We are building bridges among Christian Scientists of all ages across the United States and beyond.
Mission: "Opening Windows to God"
The prevailing belief in entrepreneurship is that the value of an entrepreneur is the value of their business, not the entrepreneur themselves. This creates a system where an enormous amount of early-stage entrepreneurs who don’t come from privilege are ignored. Instead, Sky’s the Limit envisions a world where every entrepreneur has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Our mission is to build a global community where all entrepreneurs and their allies can build meaningful relationships and grow together.
Skysthelimit.org (STL) is a digital platform that connects aspiring, underrepresented entrepreneurs with mentors, access to capital, and our proven process for building a business. Our work is to empower underserved communities nationwide by providing them with the right support, from the right people, at the right time in their journey. With over 100,000 registered entrepreneurs and volunteers, we're growing rapidly in all 50 states and the UK. Through our digital platform, we provide young entrepreneurs with one-on-one support, our young adult-adapted entrepreneurship training resources, and our startup grants funding.
We partner with philanthropists and companies big and small to create impact together, engaging their employees in supporting our entrepreneurs. Our long term partners include Accenture, PNC Bank, Bank of America, and Simply Business. Many thousands of their employees volunteer in groups and 1:1 to help entrepreneurs tackle business problems, from marketing and sales to product design and legal.
Over 11 million young adults in the United States say they want to start their own business, but lack the resources they need to do so. We’re building the on-ramp to entrepreneurship so that anyone with an idea, perseverance and a willingness to learn can get the support they need to build their business.
Skysthelimit.org (formerly known as Youth Business USA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit operating across the United States and United Kingdom.
