STEMFIE is a free, open-source construction toy system: parts snap together on a 3D grid and are 3D-printed at home or in school. Kits with step-by-step instructions, classroom lessons, and the open STEMFIE Standard are published at stemfie.org, with more than 3,000 parts available on the major 3D-printing platforms. STEMFIE was created in Sweden in 2019 by Paulo Kiefe, co-creator of the 3DBenchy, and is used in STEM education together with partners such as Bambu Lab.
