Stem Systems are a versatile IT services provider based in Mallusk, Northern Ireland. We lean heavily on the Microsoft Azure cloud, being among Ireland's earliest adopters of Azure Virtual Desktop as a means of providing fully-managed, hosted desktop environments for customers. This forms a key role in our drive to allow customers of any size and profession to become entirely server-less, with the clear benefits of having less hardware to manage, improved security of data and seamless, un-compromised remote working. As a sign of its cloud-first focus, less than 5 of the company’s top 20 customers as of 2022 now have physical servers on site, arguably a leading statistic for any IT provider in the Irish SME space. The 'complete' approach sees us implement and support every layer of technology in the majority of our customer sites - - website hosting and DNS management - email filtering - firewall management - network infrastructure and managed WiFi - VOIP communications based on 3CX and Microsoft Teams - IT hardware - software licensing - security and compliance, with many deployments implemented to ISO27001 standards - Microsoft .NET software development This is wrapped up with our pro-active monitoring and managed support offerings. Our client base encompasses NI health trusts, UK- and EU-based PLC's along with recognised names in hospitality, legal, medical, accountancy, manufacturing, dental, construction, haulage and retail sectors.
