SteerSmart Information

In the United States, over 4,000 high school and college students die annually in car crashes, the number one cause of death for this age. SteerSmart is a non-profit dedicated to reducing these crashes through education and awareness. The organization impacts the community through its mission to educate young drivers in order to prevent car crash fatalities and injuries. Since 2011, SteerSmart has provided education on how to limit risky behaviors with high school and college students (and their parents) in more than 80 schools and community organizations across 19 states. Approximately 10,000 students have engaged in a live presentation.
