Reactive Cyclical Induction STec Technology, Inc. has developed an exhaust treatment system, RCI (Reactive Cyclical Induction) that reduces environmentally harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) pollutants from the exhaust of diesel powered boats. 98.7% of marine vessels use raw untreated diesel exhaust which emits 40X more toxic gases than diesel trucks. Recreational and commercial vessels pump over 250 million tons of CO2 and 100 million tons of NOx every year. Regulations aimed at limiting noxious emissions from vessels over 78' will be in place by January 2021 and will effect 4 million diesel-powered boats less than 300' worldwide that have no usable exhaust treatment systems to control emissions.
