With around 130 employees, STEBATEC positions itself as a key driving force in the European water and wastewater market. All shares in our company are held by employees, thereby reinforcing our partnership-based approach. STEBATEC was founded in 1990 and has continued to develop ever since. Today’s structures are based on a long history of entrepreneurial development: Its roots now stretch back to 1913, when the firm Züllig was founded, from which STEBATEC Züllig AG emerged in 2024. In addition, the former Scheidegger Fernsteuerungen AG – STEBATEC Trinkwasser AG since 2020 – brings its long-standing history dating back to the 1960s to the group. Experience and expertise are what set STEBATEC apart. We are 70% a software company, complemented by services in the fields of engineering, product manufacturing, installation and after-sales service. STEBATEC products automate water supply systems, sewage treatment plants, sewer networks and industrial heat generation plants. From electrical design through IT, control and process control technology to flow measurement, machinery and sensors: STEBATEC has proven itself as a partner for process automation, plant engineering and turnkey solutions. Our headquarters are located in Switzerland; we have branches and representatives in Germany, Austria, England and the Netherlands.
