Stearns Healthcare Consulting has been formed to assist healthcare organizations use health information technology in a manner that will help them achieve optimal patient care and business objectives. Electronic health records and related clinical and business oriented tools, when used properly, have the potential to help providers more effectively manage patients while maintaining compliance with regulatory and reimbursement guidelines. The company was started in 2020 by Michael Stearns, MD, CPC, CFPC, a physician informaticist with extensive experience in electronic health records, standards, billing, coding and compliance.
