Station Information

Station is a design strategy studio founded in 2011 by Nicholas and Amanda Rock. We work at the intersection of vision, culture, and communication — partnering with purpose-driven organizations to define where they are going, align their teams, and build the systems, experiences, and narratives that move them forward. We are not a typical agency. We work as genuine partners — getting close to the work and the people behind it, because that's where the best work comes from. We're selective about who we take on, because we have to believe in what we're building together. Our work falls across three areas: Vision + Strategy — helping organizations define the future they're working toward and articulate it in a way that makes it real for everyone who needs to believe in it. Design + Systems — helping organizations express who they are clearly, consistently, and in a way that holds together across every surface it touches. Experience + Participation — helping organizations create the conditions for something genuine to happen between people. We've worked with cultural institutions, global companies, universities, nonprofits, and growth-stage startups. What stays consistent is how we work — with honesty, rigor, and a genuine investment in the people we're working with. Station is based in Rhode Island and works with organizations nationally.
