HİDROMEK, fabricante de maquinaria de construcción conocido a nivel mundial, fue fundada en Ankara en 1978. Comenzó produciendo implementos para tractores agrícolas y desarrolló la primera máquina de construcción diseñada por ingenieros turcos. Hoy cuenta con alrededor de 2.400 empleados. Produce retroexcavadoras, excavadoras hidráulicas, cargadoras sobre ruedas, motoniveladoras y compactadoras de suelos en siete instalaciones: cinco fábricas en Ankara, una en İzmir y una en Tailandia. Una nueva planta en Ankara, en un área de 1,4 millones de m², sigue en construcción. Las máquinas HİDROMEK operan en más de 120 países en seis continentes. La empresa gestiona una red internacional de distribuidores y centros como HİDROMEK WEST (Barcelona), HİDROMEK RUSSIAN (Krasnodar) y HİDROMEK JAPAN (Sagamihara). HİDROMEK ha ganado 38 premios de diseño de prestigio internacional. Es el primer y único fabricante de maquinaria turco en la lista "Yellow Table 2024" del KHL Group. Según İMDER, fue líder del mercado en Turquía entre 2009 y 2019: 11 años en retroexcavadoras, 8 en excavadoras y 2 en motoniveladoras.
