Moldtelecom este Operatorul Naţional de Telecomunicaţii din Republica Moldova cu servicii şi produse de cea mai înaltă calitate. Întreprinderea de Stat Moldtelecom a fost înfiinţată în 1993 ca urmare a restructurării sectorului de telecomunicaţii din Republica Moldova. La 5 ianuarie 1999 Întreprinderea de Stat Moldtelecom a fost reorganizată în Societate pe Acţiuni, Statul fiind fondator şi unic acţionar. În toţi aceşti ani, Moldtelecom a depus eforturi considerabile pentru dezvoltarea şi diversificarea pieţei de telecomunicaţii. Depăşind sfera sa tradiţională de activitate - telefonia fixă şi îndreptându-se spre piaţa de telefonie mobilă, Moldtelecom a lansat la 1 martie 2007 operatorul de comunicaţii mobile în standard CDMA2000 - Unité, parte componentă a familiei Moldtelecom. Un alt serviciu bazat pe tehnologia CDMA şi oferit de Moldtelecom este serviciul de telefonie fixă - Amplus, care are drept scop asigurarea accesului la serviciile de telecomunicaţii tuturor cetăţenilor Republicii Moldova, indiferent de localitate. Combinaţia perfectă de tehnologii moderne şi management flexibil contribuie la asigurarea clienţilor cu servicii de cel mai înalt nivel. Implementarea serviciilor Internet şi transport date, telefonie mobilă, IP telefonie, VideoTelefonie, cartele preplătite tête-à-tête, Numărul Verde, Allodin ş a. sunt o dovadă în plus a intenţiilor Moldtelecom de a promova şi în continuare tot ce este actual şi util, pentru a fi in pas cu cerinţele pieţei.
