This pioneering model sets a new benchmark for sustainable, community-driven ocean governance. • Co-developed and helped launch the Blue Abadi Fund — Indonesia’s first trust fund dedicated to marine conservation. Designed to ensure long-term, locally led protection of the Bird’s Head Seascape in West Papua—one of the most biodiverse marine regions on Earth.
