In 2020, we attained exclusive rights to 10 starch-based patents from Michigan State University in exchange for ownership. The StarchTek mission is to continuously build a proprietary portfolio of formulas, processes, tool & dies, and equipment to license to the legacy packaging giants to efficiently manufacture and sell affordable plastic-free solutions. We started to build our portfolio with our StarchTek intellectual property, then we added 10 exclusive Michigan State University patents as we continue to strongly focus on in-house development, funding Sponsored Starch-Based Research at MSU for our exclusive benefit, establish more partnerships to further vertically integrate the green packaging market and lastly, engineering smart affordable plastic-free alternatives.
