Stara Collaborative Information

Stara Collaborative is a community project support hub based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. People in Kalamazoo have always been doing the work of building power in their communities. We exist so they don't have to do it alone. We provide fiscal sponsorship, shared space, and support that grows with each project. Contracts get reviewed, receipts get verified, and leaders get help as they need it. The legal and financial groundwork is ours to carry. The mission stays theirs. We work alongside Kalamazoo's own organizers, artists, and healers, currently supporting 25 grassroots leaders across 17 projects.
