Star Forensics Information

At Star Forensics, we provide medical care to victims of violence, particularly sexual assault, domestic violence, and intimate partner violence. Our team consists of a Medical Director, Forensic Nurse Examiners, and Law Enforcement professionals to assist with community awareness, education, and training. We also provide high quality medical forensic health care examinations and services to victims. What We Do: Nothing is more important to us than giving the highest level of care that every victim needs and deserves. At Star Forensics, our services are available 24/7 for victims. We tailor our treatments to every patient’s individual needs, which include: Medical Forensic Examination and Treatment: Our highly-trained forensic nurse examiners administer a head-to-toe examination to victims. They look for injuries and take samples that may be used as evidence in an investigation. After the examination, patients receive necessary medication, such as prophylactic treatment. We also offer forensic photography of injuries if the patient wants them taken. Suspect Examination: Research shows that suspect examinations done by highly trained individuals can play a critical role in the investigation process. At the request of law enforcement, suspect examinations are available. Professional Training: We offer professional training and education to the community, law enforcement, schools, and community agencies upon request.
