Stan has won hundreds of awards for his quality hickory smoked meats. In 1997, Stan became the 15th person to be inducted into the American Association of Meat Processors Cured Meat Hall of Fame. Stan has been a member of Oklahoma Texas Meat Processors Association (OTMPA) since 1970, he's a past president and has served on the board of directors for several years. Stan was elected by his colleagues of the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) to serve on the Board ofDirectors. Stan, for several years, has been on the program at Western Oklahoma Vo-Tech Meat Processing Seminar held annually, he loves to help his colleagues and the students at the Vo-Tech. He has also been a featured speaker on several programs sponsored by both OTMPA and AAMP.
