Standups & Startups Information

Comedy and improv are the engine behind everything we do at Standups & Startups. We call it edutainment. The laughs keep people in the room. The reps make the skills stick. That engine runs three ways. We host our own shows. Live comedy and improv built for the business crowd, including our signature Pitches Get Stitches® segment, where volunteers improvise pitches for gloriously bad company ideas. We've played rooms across the Southeast. We make your events better. Conferences, sales kickoffs, offsites, and company meetings. We emcee, host, perform, and run live improv segments that keep people awake, laughing, and talking to each other. Your agenda stays intact. The energy doesn't sag at 2pm. We train your team in the Performance Lab. This isn't a workshop. It's a performance lab. The room doesn't reward preparation. It rewards presence, and presence is trainable. Founders, sales teams, and leaders learn to read a room, recover in real time, and land a point under pressure. Half-day, full-day, and custom sessions, all live-facilitated. No lectures. Teams of 5 to 25, scalable to 60. People walk out sharper, not funnier. Who's behind it Founded by Robert E. Daniel (RED). RED has led pitch training at ATDC and the FinTech South Innovation Challenge, and has helped founders win pitch competitions and close enterprise partnerships.
